Documents Required to Apply new Pan Card
When applying for a new PAN card (either online via NSDL or UTIITSL), you need to submit Proof of Identity (POI), Proof of Address (POA), and Proof of Date of Birth (DOB).

Let’s get to the heart of the matter:
Step 1: Visit the official NSDL PAN application portal.
Step 2: Select Pan application type as New PAN- Form 49A for Indian citizens and choose the appropriate category and application title, then provide your last name, first name, middle name (if any), date of birth or incorporation, along with your email address and mobile number.
Step 3: Check the declaration box, complete the captcha verification, and click on Submit.
Step 4: Now, your token has been successfully generated and it has been sent to the provided Email ID. Click on continue to proceed the next step.
Step 5: Carefully go through the complete guidelines before entering information in the PAN application form.
Step 6: Next, select how you want to submit your supporting documents-
- Aadhaar-based Online PAN Application
- PAN Application with supporting documents (Scan, Upload and eSign)
- Fill PAN Application online and courier/speed post application along with supporting documents
Step 7: Select the option whether you want a physical PAN card with Soft copy or only soft copy of Pan Card.
